Authorized Dealer

As an authorized dealer of these brands, these instruments ship genuine and factory sealed, direct from the maker, with the manufacturer documentation in the box.

The Fluke 28 II EX is an intrinsically safe true-RMS digital multimeter built for work in and around hazardous locations. It carries certification for Class I, Division 1 and Zone 1 and 2 gas areas, so it can travel with technicians across petroleum, chemical and pharmaceutical sites without compromising compliance.

The 28 II EX measures AC and DC voltage to 1000 V, AC and DC current to 10 A, resistance to 50 MΩ, capacitance to 9999 µF and frequency to 199.99 kHz. It also reads temperature from -200 °C to +1090 °C and captures transients as short as 250 µs, covering a wide troubleshooting range from a single tool.

The meter is sealed to IP67 against water and dust and is tested to survive a 3 meter drop. A 6000 count backlit display adds a 19,999 count high-resolution mode to keep readings clear in dim or bright conditions, and three AAA batteries deliver about 400 hours of use.

Rugged testing inside and outside hazardous zones

The 28 II EX combines intrinsic safety certification with an IP67 sealed, drop-tested body, so technicians keep one meter for work in and out of Ex-rated areas.

Key Features

Certified for hazardous areas

ATEX and IECEx approvals cover Class I, Division 1 and Zone 1 and 2 gas environments, so the meter can be carried into many Ex-rated areas without a separate instrument.

True-RMS accuracy

True-RMS AC measurement reads voltage and current accurately on linear and non-linear signals for dependable results across a range of loads.

Sealed and drop-tested

An IP67 rating protects against water and dust, and the sealed housing is tested to survive a 3 meter drop for use in rough field conditions.

Wide measurement range

One tool covers AC and DC voltage to 1000 V, current to 10 A, resistance, capacitance, frequency and temperature from -200 °C to +1090 °C.

Readable display

A 6000 count backlit display adds a 19,999 count high-resolution mode and captures transients as short as 250 µs.
