The Fluke 87V MAX is a rugged true-RMS industrial digital multimeter built for demanding work sites. It measures AC and DC voltage to 1000 V with 0.05% basic DC accuracy and reads true-RMS AC, so voltage and current stay accurate on non-linear signals.

The meter covers AC and DC current to 10 A, resistance to 50 MΩ, capacitance to 9999 µF and frequency to 200 kHz, and a built-in thermometer reads from -200 °C to +1090 °C. A low-pass filter supports accurate voltage and frequency readings on variable frequency drives, and peak capture records transients as fast as 250 µs.

The 87V MAX is sealed to IP67 against water and dust and is tested to survive a 4 meter drop, with an operating range of -15 °C to +55 °C. A two-level backlit display, a 19,999 count high-resolution mode and a removable holster for one-handed work round out the meter.
