The Extech MO280-KW is built for water damage restoration contractors who need to monitor job site conditions, follow drying progress and gather figures for insurance company reporting. It brings together three instruments that cover pinless scanning, pin spot checks and ambient conditions.
The MO280 pinless moisture meter reads up to 0.75 inches below the surface with virtually no marks and offers selectable settings across ten wood types. It is the tool for sweeping walls, floors and other finished surfaces without leaving pin holes.
The MO210 pocket moisture meter adds a pin-type reading for direct contact checks in wood and porous building materials, while the RH490 precision hygro-thermometer measures humidity, temperature, dew point, wet bulb and grains per pound so you can document the surrounding air.
Together the three meters let a technician verify moisture in materials and record the ambient conditions that drive drying, all from one kit.
